An ideally balanced growing season produced classic Sangiovese which ripened well and also had good acidity. Hold good names until 2008-2012.

The long hot summer was followed by a baking autumn, which cooked many grapes into boredom. A few exceptions exist. It is a drinkable vintage but search for other years first.
