A remarkable price for this appealing and easy drinking red wine from
the eastern slopes of the Andes mountains, where the grapes are cultivated at around 2,000 feet. It is a blend of Argentina's most popular red variety – Malbec, which originated in Bordeaux, and Bonarda
which was brought from northern Italy many generations ago.
A rich ruby colour leads to a bouquet resplendent with berries and currants. Blackcurrants are predominant on a smooth and well-balanced
palate. It is full-bodied (13.5%) whilst never seeming too heavy and leaves with a gentle but flavoursome finish.
Food guide: Chicken, duck and other poultry. Try it with guinea fowl. Also ideal
with pork and lamb dishes.
Cellar Note: Drink within 12 months of purchase.
