This pleasing blend of France's classic red variety, Cabernet Sauvignon
and the King of Spanish reds, Tempranillo make this Navarra an attractive wine for the price. This 'Crianza' or nursery wine is so named because it has received a maximum of 12 months cellar aging. 18
months aging would make it a 'Reserva'.
It has a healthy ruby colour and like its neighbour, Rioja, has easily distinguishable vanilla notes on the nose. Considering it is 13.5% abv this is quite
an elegant wine which offers currant and cherry flavours on a smooth well-balanced palate.
Food guide: Veal kidneys, herb sausages, roast pork stuffed with sage, guinea fowl and most medium
flavoured cheeses.
Cellar Note: Up to 24 months.
