A 'hot' wine that is enjoying greatly increasing popularity in many ways, thanks to its 'cool' project. The brand is championing wetlands in both Australia and the UK. Banrock Station is actually a place in the Riverlands region of South Australia, where 625 acres are planted in vineyards and 400 have been retained as a wetland reserve. Basically it is a region where bulk wine grapes have been grown for some years, and now a winery has decided to set more ambitious targets and is achieving most attractive results.

This Shiraz has a deep ruby colour, a fresh plummy, spicy nose, a ripe, slightly sticky palate and a lingering fruit-laden finish.

It will match well with pasta, pizza, poultry, red meats and many cheeses.
