Please note that the wine costs just £4.66 with Thresher and Wine Rack's 3 for 2 offer.

This wine comes from the multi-award winning Domaines Paul Mas and was the ingenious idea of owner Jean-Claude Mas. Arrogant Frog has already won 2 silver medals so far this year in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2007 and the Languedoc Wine awards 2007. The wine is good and so is the tongue-in-cheek name, which pokes fun at Anglo-French opinions.

The label is attractively textured and varnished and portrays a frog holding a wine glass whilst wearing a gold jacket and blue beret. It is correctly called Ribet White, as all French gastronomes know which colour wine to drink when eating cuisses de grenouilles (frogs' legs).

This green-gold wine has a floral bouquet of honeysuckle and mouthwatering tropical fruit flavours plus peaches.

Try it on its own as an aperitif or with shellfish, especially prawns and crab or cold poached salmon.
