Former winery chief Anton du Toit was so inspired by the charming
fishing village of Arniston, whose golden sands meet the turquoise blue Indian Ocean, that he created the Arniston Bay brand. It has now become one of the most popular wines exported from South Africa.
The Arniston Bay Pinotage Rosé is smartly presented in a tall clear glass bottle with a vertical label, which allows its charming rose petal colour to attract the eye. A tempting bouquet of
berries and summer fruits develops into strawberries on a full, off-dry palate and continues to a satisfying finish.
Food guide: As an aperitif, with mild curries and Asian cuisine, chicken and
pork.
Cellar Note: Drink within a year.
