I have often found it difficult to be enthusiastic about Gavi in the
past, but this example is a well-structured, restrained dry white amongst a flood of fruit-forward mouthfuls. It has a firm body and develops citrus nuances in the aftertaste.
Definitely more of a
food wine than an aperitif, try it with risotto, white fish of roast chicken with lemon and herbs.
