35° South is the latitude which famously runs through the vineyards of Chile, South Africa and Australia. It is also a popular brand owned by the large San Pedro company. 'Horizon' is a sub-brand of 35° South.

This blend clearly has a majority of Chardonnay over Semillon. It has a bright straw colour with a healthy clear appearance. The aroma of peach and pineapple is followed by a full, rich, slightly sticky palate with both tropical and citrus flavours evident. The finish is clean and attractive.

Food guide: Some shellfish but crustaceans rather than molluscs, trout, salmon, soles and poultry.

Cellar Note: Drink within 12 months.
