Another appealing wine from the consistently good winemakers at Angove's. It comes from the Bear Crossing range with its bright yellow roadside warning. The back label tells us that your purchase will help support the Australia Koala Foundation.

This charming bottle offers a touch of Alsace style from South Australia with a most attractive blending of Gewürztraminer and Riesling at a realistic price.

It has a bright gold colour with green glints at the rim. Rose and orange blossom aromas lead to a full, rich, crisp palate with lemon, lime and some tropical flavours and most delicious mouth feel before leaving with an almost medium-dry finish.

Food guide: Good with mildly spiced dishes such as Thai Green Curry or Chicken Korma. The residual sweetness helps to tame the spice.

Cellar Note: Keep no more than 12 months.
