This is quite a mouthfilling wine with a deep, rich colour. The bouquet
offers hints of eucalyptus and vanilla while the palate reveals further dimensions of berries, plums and mint. There is also a hint of spice.
The juiciness is well balanced by an acidic backbone, which makes this Shiraz an excellent value wine.
This winery is based in little-known Swan Hill, Victoria and is evidence of an increasing
number of wines being imported from that state.
It will be ideal for drinking with game, roast and grilled red meats, casseroles, patés, terrines and many cheeses.
