35 South is the extremely popular label from the large San Pedro Company in Chile. The name comes from the latitude which passes through many of the leading vineyard regions in the Southern Hemisphere, specifically Chile.

This particular Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in the north south facing Central Valley. This is bordered by the snow-covered Andes Mountains to the east and the bright blue Pacific Ocean to the west.

It is a young medium-bodied, fruity red with an aroma of berries and currants and these are confirmed on an easy-to-drink palate.

Food guide: with many pasta dishes, milder pizzas, gammon and soft, creamy cheeses.
